Claire has always been drawn to painting and sculpting.

Being neurodivergent, she is always looking for the details and quirks in people. After studying Animation at Falmouth University, she received support from 'The Princes Trust', Claire began her career as a self-employed artist, painting portraits for clients.

During the pandemic, Claire started and ran a Mutual Aid group, providing food and medicine to those who were isolating. This is where she learned how rewarding helping her community can be.

Upon learning about silicone prosthetics, this seemed to be the perfect blend of using her portraiture skills to help others. Claire received her initial silicone training in Newbury, and hosted the silicone clinic at Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton, before joining the Silicone by Dorset Orthopaedic team at the beginning of 2023. She is enjoying developing her skills and learning from the experienced techs.

In her spare time, Claire enjoys indoor climbing, foraging and tackling woodwork projects with her partner.
